Biography, Life Story
Waad Albahri was born on October 01, 1981-Suwayda in Syria. She is the voice of Asmahan in the series Asmahan, she is “Asmahan the generation” as called by the Syrian poet and media Saad al-Hashemi. She began singing at the age of four as her family discovered her talent early and sang at many local events at the time. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the UAE – Abu Dhabi, and was a student at the Arab House of oud (Naseer Shamma) to learn oud and the origins of Arabic music. She participated in the Super Star 2 program and reached the finals. She currently resides between Abu Dhabi, where her family and Cairo, where she is active artistically and welcomes many concerts, the most important of which are the concerts of the Egyptian Opera House in Cairo, where she sang several times in addition to her participation in the festival of Arabic song and her huge concert at the Sayed Darwish Theater in Alexandria,
