Biography, Life Story

Rachid Tawsi was born on 6 February 1956 in tafraut, Morocco, a former Moroccan football player, he has been the coach of the Moroccan national team since 22 September 2012, and has been coaching the Royal Army club since July 2012, combining the two duties at least until January 2012.

He started his career as a player with Sidi Qasim Union Club in 1977 and then toured the Royal Army Club in 1989 to return to his first club and then retired.

He went to the training field where he coached the Union Club Sidi Kassem season 92-93 and then coached the Moroccan boys team in 1994 and then coached the youth team from 1995 to 1997 and led him to win the African Youth Cup in 1997 and then worked as assistant coach of the Moroccan senior team Henri Michel from 1996 to 1998 and in the season 1999-2000 in 2003 he worked as a coach for Al Wydad Sports Club and then Tangier Union and Al quneitri club in 2004 to leave Morocco for the UAE where he worked as technical director of the UAE youth club 2007-2008 season and then manager Technical from 2008 to 2010 for Al Ain UAE club and returned to Morocco to coach Al Fassi Morocco from 2010 to 2012 and after many successes contracted with the Royal Army club.

He led Morocco from 2010 to 2012 in all competitions in 88 games won in 39 games, tied in 29 games and lost in 20 games, i.e. his percentage of victories reached 44% (per cent).
