May Hariri was born in 1968 in southern Lebanon. She released 3 albums, and filmed 8 songs, perhaps the most successful of which was the song (Let’s Dance Together), which she filmed on the Beirut beach. In addition to her work as a singer, she also works as an actress.

May Hariri suffered a series of failures in her family life, starting with the failure of her first marriage to a Syrian businessman, with whom she gave birth to her eldest daughter, Manal. Some even attributed the severe psychological crisis that Barakat experienced to his divorce from May Hariri after she gave birth to him Melhem. As for her last husband, the engineer Osama Shaaban, who is younger than her, was rumored about Mai’s discovery of a love affair with one of the women, which prompted her to ask for a divorce.
