Biography, Life Story

Haifa WehbeHaifa Wehbi was born on 10 March 1976 in Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, to a Shia Muslim family of a Lebanese father and an Egyptian mother residing in Lebanon. She did not create the gold spoon in her mouth, she lived the difficulties, her life and childhood were not the same as the rest of the children, she grew up with her mother in a less than normal apartment in Beirut, close to the trades with a large number of her family members, and she, like most Lebanese people, suffered the brunt of the sectarian

She tried so many ways to get out of poverty, she never aspired to stardom. She worked as an ordinary saleswoman in a gold jewelry store, then participated in the Miss South pageant and won the title of Queen, but the prize was withdrawn from her because the organizers discovered the presence of her daughter from a previous marriage. She worked as a model for Nidal Bishrawi’s agency at the age of 16, a field that also helped her get to know a large number of producers and important people. She was also an advertising girl, where in 1992 she appeared in the ad “Dana pasta” on Syrian Arab television, and then worked as a video model in the song “satisfied with the share” by artist George Wassouf, and in the song “yam’ima” by artist Assi Al-Halani.
