Biography, Life Story

Farid Ghannam was born on March 5 in Morocco. He belongs to the youth singing group “Mayara band”, winner of one of the courses of the competition “generation Mawazine”, recognized by the Arab audience after his participation in the program “The Voice – the sweetest voice” on MBC satellite channel, where Egyptian artist Shirin Abdel Wahab nicknamed him “strawberry”, and his friends called him before the program”Farid Mayara”. He loved music from the age of six, despite the difficult family circumstances he experienced, after his parents separated and left him with his grandmother. After becoming a young man and being forced by circumstances to live on the Moroccan streets for three years, Farid decided to form a band instead of deviating, and named it “Mayara band”.

His highest example in art is the American jazz singer Al Jarreau, he is also in love with the young Khaled, and he sang to him in the program about two songs in “The Voice” . Farid Ghannam, whose songs have achieved millions of views on YouTube, is one of the closest contestants to Shirin, who at the beginning of the program asked him to join her team, to cry together because he has a high sense like her.

Farid Ghannam married one of his admirers, Rabab azmani, who posted on her own social media page a photo of her with Ghannam two years ago, commenting:”My first photo with strawberries, as a fan of his.”
